Don't sweat the small stuff, so they say, but how many times have we all done this, finished our beautiful project with our favorite stain only to bring out a hidden flaw, dryed glue that we missed in the sanding process. Next time, before you apply your favorite stain take the extra couple of minutes and wipe down the project with mineral spirits. The mineral spirits will show any dryed glue without raising the grain, and it dries in a matter of seconds. So save yourself the pain and wipe it down before you stain.
